Organisations can be messy and matrix or dotted line reporting is common. Luckily, OrgVue has a way of visualising your org charts even when there’s more than one manager per employee. All you need is to have a second parent ID field in your data (e.g. Reporting Manager ID and Regional Manager ID).
The method uses the dataset filter functionality, see the Settings User Guide.

Step 1 Load Data
a) Load dataset with two manager id properties
b) Select primary manager id property as the parent id in the hierarchy
Step 2 Create Dataset Filter
a) Create a Dataset filter for the loaded data
b) Select the secondary manager id property as the parent id for the Dataset filter hierarchy (note you must add something to filter by but just select the entire value collection).
Step 3 Flip back and forth
a) Use Dataset switching within the Pack to flip back and forth between the two structures
