This article explains how you can edit your data using the Crosstab slide type.
In the example below, poor data governance has resulted in inconsistent value labels being applied. As result, we don’t immediately see intended results: the number of female and male employees in each grade category.
You can rapidly correct your data by dragging cells with the wrong property values onto cells with the correct values:
- Drag cells with incorrect property values onto cells with the correct values.
In the example below, the two records at Grade level 2 with the Gender value ‘f’ are dragged onto the cell at the same Grade level with the correct Gender label, “Female”
- The ‘Edit’ window:
- Lists all nodes which will be edited
- Displays the property values which will be applied
- Select ‘Apply
After selecting ‘Apply’ your data is updated:
As this action is updating data (not just slides in the pack), you will need to save your data:
- Select ‘Data’
- Select ‘Save’ or ‘Save As’
