What can I do to make Orgvue faster? – Orgvue Knowledge Base

Here are some top tips on things to do and things to avoid to maximise performance in your tenant.

Do:

Minimise the number of properties in the Data panel.
Close the data panel when you save.
Close other tabs when not being used.
User Views or Pre-filters to limit the amount of data being loaded.
Set expressions as On Demand wherever possible.
Limit the number of paging/filter controls to only those that are necessary (having more pages selected but set to "all" can decrease performance)

Do not:

Duplicate your tab. Instead open a new tab and navigate back to Orgvue (or copy the URL from the other tab).
Use Descendants of in your filter wherever possible. Wherever possible use Level properties instead.
Overuse dataset lookups as they can be expensive.
Colour by an evaluated property, where possible.
Filter on properties with high numbers of distinct values such as ID, email or name.
Display more than 4 "Roll up" calculations (including in the colour by) on an org chart.
