Two packs provided in the Talent Selection solution can be used to make selection decisions, report on selection progress, and understand the impact of selection decisions: a Positions Pack and an Employees Pack. Together, these packs allow you to action and visualize selection decisions from both the position perspective and the employee perspective. This article outlines the content of the Employees pack. A separate article provides an overview of the Talent Selection Position Pack.
Slide 1 Visualize the scope of the talent process
This slide is used to:
- See how many employees are in scope
- See the number of in-scope employees split by organization subgroup
Slide 2: Understand the progress of the talent process
This slide is used to:
- Understand the overall status of the project and the progress which has been made
- Identify if there are sub-groups where progress is not being made
Slide 3: Visualize the status of employees by organization sub-group
This slide is used to:
- Visualize the number of employees in each ‘Most Advanced Stage’ category split by organization dimension
Slide 4: Roster listing every employee by their Most Advanced Stage in the talent process
This slide is used to:
- Visualize the detail of employees in the process grouped by their Most Advanced Stage
- Identify unassigned employees that are available for selection
Slide 5: Review and rectify Selection Errors
This slide is used to:
- Identify employees with selection errors (for more information, see Defining your Talent Selection Project
- Understand why an employee has been flagged with a selection error
- Resolve errors
Slide 6: Identify where selection decisions have resulted in changes for individual employees
This slide is used to:
- Identify where selection decisions have resulted in changes for employees (comparing the position the employee has been appointed to with their current position)
- Understanding the detail of what has changed for each employee
Slide 7: Identify where relocations result from selection decisions
This slide is used to:
- Understand the number of relocations resulting from talent decisions
- Understand the number of employees selected to move from-to each location

Slide 8: Identify where grade changes result from selection decisions
This slide is used to:
- Identify the number of employees appointed for a position at a different grade (comparing the grade of the position the employee has been appointed to and their current position)
- Understand the number of employees selected to move from-to each grade level

Slide 9: Visualize the gender split at each Selection Stage
This slide is used to:
- Identify whether a disproportionate number of male or female employees is progressing through the selection process
- Reveal whether there is evidence of unconscious bias in the decision-making process
Slide 10: Visualize the gender split at each Selection Stage by Grade
This slide is used to identify whether a disproportionate number of male or female employees at each grade level is progressing through the process
Slide 11: Understand the status of employees in the exit status
This slide is used to:
- Identify which employees are in the exit process, and each employee’s status in the process
- Assign exiting employees to the appropriate stage of the exit process
- Assign an Exit Date and Exit Comment for each exiting employee
Slide 12: Visualize the number of employees at each stage of the exit process
This slide is used to:
- Understand the number of employees at each stage of the exit process
- Identify whether the exit process is progressing as planned
