Validate Actions

The content in the Validate Actions section shows any positions which are flagged for failing the in-built validation checks.

The issues which are flagged are:

• Missing Values: Where a position is missing a value for one or more modelling property.
• Change Reason Issues: Where a position has been added, changed, or removed, but no Change Reason has been provided. Or where an unchanged position has a Change Reason.
• Hierarchy Issues: Where a removed manager position has direct reports which remain open. For this issue, both the removed manager position and the direct reports are flagged.

Flagged positions are shown under the ‘Validation flags’ tab. Place your cursor over a flagged position to understand the reasons.

Issues can be rectified using the spreadsheet provided under the ‘Resolve errors’ tab. Select the ‘How to resolve errors’ button to see the required action. As issues are rectified, positions are removed from the list.
