In addition to the values in your dataset, there may be additional values needed to specify positions in the future organization. For example, it may be known from preceding organization design work that a new location will open.
Adding additional values at this configuration stage is recommended so they can be selected by users from a drop-down menu when specifying positions. This speeds-up the process and removes the risk of typos creating data-quality issues when values are manually entered.
You can also specify whether users are able to enter their own, additional values whilst conducting the assignment.
Tip:
- Select the tab in the ‘Existing values’ column to see the property values which exist in the selected baseline dataset.
