Org Modelling Advanced Solution - Overview

The Organization Modelling Advanced Solution is a pre-configured dataset and pack with a standard set of properties and calculations which can be customized to your needs.

This solution is used (as opposed to the Guided Experience) when:

• A high level of customization is required to meet complex org design programs (e.g., M&A context).

• Time-tracking is required to see the evolution of the future organization based on the planned dates for actions to take effect

• There is a need to immediately integrate with other solutions (Talent Selection and Tracking and Monitoring). The set up requires Orgvue Services Support, and up-front training for users will be need to be provided.

This article outlines the content of the standard packs provided in the Org Modelling Advanced Solution. In addition to the core pack, a second pack is provided when time tracking is enabled.

When time-tracking is enabled, an ‘effective date’ is specified for planned actions, i.e., the date at which a position is planned to start, or an existing position is planned to close. This is a typical requirement in large-scale transformation programs comprised of sequential waves. The Time-tracking pack reports the evolution of the organization over time based on the planned effective dates for position-level actions.
