This article explains the Orgvue standard process which is followed when a tenant is not being renewed.
The process leads to the tenant initially becoming read-only, then being destroyed. The tenant destruction process means that customers do not need to actively delete data at the end of the licence period. Customers may wish to download datasets and packs to support future work. Data can be downloaded for a short grace period after expiry.
Expiry Date. The date when the tenant will expire. Once the expiry date has passed it is no longer possible for data in the tenant (including the user listing) to be changed. It may be possible to view and download the data, depending on the number of Grace Days.
Grace Days. The number of days after tenant expiry that the content of the tenant can be viewed and downloaded. For Direct Customer tenants, the default is 10 Grace Days. For Consulting Partner tenants, the default is 5. Upon request the number of Grace Days for an individual tenant can be altered.
Destruction Date. Destruction of the tenant will happen 90 days after the Expiry date, unless a request has been placed with Orgvue to retain the tenant. The destruction of tenants is a manual process.
