The advised approach is to use Mac OS "Apple Numbers" in place of Excel for Mac.
If the original source file was created in Excel and you are having problems getting this data into Apple Numbers, try creating a Tab Separated Value file from Excel and using that.
There is guidance for creating TSVs in this link, note this is an external article not related to OrgVue https://www.papercut.com/kb/Main/HowToCreateTabDelimitedFiles
Another method which works is to save your work in Excel for Mac as a csv file, close the file, open the csv file (with Excel for Mac) and then copy and paste the data.
If there is still a problem we also advise:
- using column headings which are single row
- ideally use column headings with single (or two) word(s) with no punctuation.
