This article explains how to add properties as worksheet rows to define subgroups and show measures for each subgroup category.
For brevity, the steps to Include ‘rolled-up’ measures in a Worksheet are not reproduced here. The illustration below builds on the previous example by adding ‘Grade’ as a row property: Positions (rows) are grouped by grade and measures are provided for each grade category.
- Select the ‘Slide’ Tab
- Ensure the ‘Rows’ section is expanded
- Select the ‘Add Property’ icon
- Search for the property to be used (‘Grade’ in this example).
- Select the property with a checkmark.
Rows are included when the checkmark is selected.
The example below shows:
- Measures for each subgroup (Grade level 5 is highlighted); and
- The values for each position in the subgroup (the seven positions at grade 5)..
Note: More than one property can be added as a row.
Tip: Set the number of visible levels ('a' below) to 1 to compare subgroups, then expand/collapse rows ('b' below) to focus on the positions in each category.
