This article introduces the Worksheet slide type showing key functionality and example outputs.
Worksheets are beneficial for:
- Seeing detailed data for individual positions in the hierarchy and within organizational subgroups.
- Editing property values.
- Exporting data extracts containing the required dataset properties, generated properties and calculated measures.
Links are provided for each example shown below. These examples are not exhaustive, but by understanding how they are created, you will be able to customize your worksheets to meet to your specific requirements. Comprehensive information can be found in the Orgvue User Guide.
Add a Worksheet slide to your pack
When you create a new pack, the default first slide is a Worksheet displaying three hierarchical layers.
To add a Worksheet to an existing pack:
- Select the “Add Slide” icon
- Select the “Worksheet” slide type
Key Worksheet functionality
- Sort rows with the option to sort by multiple properties. Left click on column headings to cycle through:
- Hierarchical order;
- Ascending order;
- Descending order.
- Expand and collapse reporting lines.
- Drag and drop the order of columns.

Edit property values, including
- Auto-suggest for text properties;
- Drag to fill when making bulk edits.
- Navigate cells with keyboard shortcuts .
