This page provides resources for Consulting Partners to set up an Orgvue project and deliver against client commitments.  A Start Right session with an Orgvue team member is recommended to ensure you are set up for success.  Use the link provided during tenant ordering to schedule a session, or reach out to your Partner Success Manager.  For consultants wanting to build and maintain Orgvue capability we recommend the Getting Started: New Users content, and the Orgvue Skills Checklist.

Managing data and team member access

• Upload data from a spreadsheet into Orgvue
  • Add new properties to your dataset  
  • Update property values by past merging data from a spreadsheet
• Provide team members with access to data and share pack content
  •  Manage access to your project tenant, datasets and individual properties
•  Create a Draft of your dataset so all changes can be tracked
  • Agreed changes can be imported from a Draft back to your baseline dataset
• Datasets and packs are separate; each need to be saved independently  

Cleaning and maintaining data quality

• Review and clean your data to avoid the The impact of common data quality issues
  • Fix broken hierarchies by dragging and dropping positions in a Tree slide
  • “Paint with Data” using the Filter Control and Color Legend to make bulk updates
• Lookups are recommended to maintain data quality and accelerate editing  
  • Expression Lookups control property values and enables editing with drop-down selections
  • Dependent Lookups maintain logic across related properties  
  • Lookup Datasets provide a central source of reference data (e.g. exchange rates)

Analysing the current organization and modelling design options 

• The template analysis packs will save you time by avoiding the need to recreate analysis  
  • The content can be configured , and slides can be added to the template  
  • You can share your packs with colleagues, either read-only or with edit permissions, or export your data, packs and individual slides
• Manage your properties to provide the required analysis and visualizations
  • Format values, Set the order of values  and specify colors for different values  
  • Create custom 'buckets' for number values
  • Calculate new properties from existing properties, referencing common calculations
• The Guided Experience provides an out-of-the-box workflow for Organization Modelling
  • If the Guided experience is not used, creating an ‘Action’ property is recommended
  • An Advanced Solution can be enabled if the project scope includes both Organization Modelling and Talent Selection
