This article covers the bulk updating of user accounts in your tenant from a spreadsheet by an admin.
With this process it is possible to add multiple new users to your tenant while updating values for existing user accounts and deleting users no longer requiring access to the tenant.
Prepare the upload file
Tenant admins have the ability to upload users, in bulk, via csv or XLSX file
The file must have the following column headers and values which are case-sensitive:

Login with valid email addresses. The upload process will use the Login column to merge

Role each user account must have the role of either user or admin in addition to any other user groups

Enabled with valid values of either TRUE or FALSE

ExpiryDate with dates in the format DD/MM/YYYY or left blank where no expiry date is required
Open settings user management

Open the Setting application

Select ‘Settings’ from the Homepage menu; or

Select the burger menu, then select ‘Settings’

Select ‘User management’
- Select ‘Add users’ and select

Select ‘Bulk’ to upload a spreadsheet of multiple users
Upload file
Upload your prepared spreadsheet by either:

Clicking on the upload area and selecting the upload file from file explorer

Dragging the upload file from your PC onto the upload window

Copying the cells in the upload file and pasting the data using CTRL +V
Select Next
Edit Details
1. Select how uploaded data will be processed:

Add and update user accounts: Add and combine the content of your uploaded file to your existing user accounts

Add, update and remove user accounts: Add and combine the content of your uploaded file to your existing user accounts and remove missing user accounts. Any existing user accounts which are not in your uploaded file will be removed.

Replace: Replace all user accounts with the uploaded data. This will delete all existing user accounts and properties
2. The detail from the uploaded file will be displayed showing the number of properties and users in the upload
3. Select the Upload button
At this final stage the impact of your upload will be assessed and a confirmation window will be displayed to provide details of the number of admin accounts that will remain in your tenant after the upload is completed.
It is critical to review this information carefully and then select the check box to confirm if you wish to proceed.
Caution: If you have selected the “Add, update and remove” or “Replace” options and your own account is not included in the upload file your access to the tenant will be removed.
