Expression Lookups provide users with a drop-down list of property values to select when Editing property values. This saves time and maintains data quality by eliminating the risk of typos or synonymous values being entered.
TIP: Before adding an Expression Lookup, check there are no ‘rogue’ values for the property being used. Any pre-existing values will remain available for selection after the Lookup is added (in addition to the intended values). “Painting with data” using the Color Legend or the Filter Control is recommended for reviewing and bulk editing property values; see step 3 of the Six-Step Data Cleaning Process.
