Formatting property values

Property values can be formatted through the ‘Manage Properties' option by Admins, Dataset Owners and Users with ‘Modify’ Dataset Permission.

The formatting options depend on the Property Type:

• The formatting options for Number properties and Date properties are illustrated below.  The number of decimal places can also be specified for Number properties.
• Text properties can be Single-Line or Multi-line;
• Boolean properties (which only ever have two values) can be formatted as ‘Yes/ No’; ‘True/ False’; or ‘1/ 0’.

To change the format of property values:

• Open ‘Manage Properties’ from Workspace or Settings

1. Select the required property
2. Select the ‘Values’ tab
3. Select the arrow for the ‘Values’ option within the ‘Display Formatting’ section
4. Expand the ‘Format’ options
5. Select the required format
6. Select ‘Save’
